Union des Côtes de Bordeaux
Created in 1985, the Union of the Côtes de Bordeaux is an association involving 1800 producers of wine across 91 villages concentrated on the Right bank of the Garonne river, around 7 appellation areas: Premières Côtes de Bordeaux, Premières Côtes de Blaye, Côtes de Bourg, Côtes de Castillon, Côtes de Francs, Bordeaux-Sainte-Foy et Graves de Vayres. In 2008, the AOC Côtes de Bordeaux was created to set up a communication synergy and a better visibility on the export market.
Objectives
To increase their reputation as one of the major players in estate promotion in France and remain unbiased in the press specialising in stock-exchange values.
Strategies
Setting up financial and estate press relations through documents adapted to each press typology.
Managing the numerous press requests.
Organising interviews and discussions to remain in current affairs and give the possibility for company leaders to establish themselves as market experts.
Maintaining close relations with the journalists who are specialists in estate stock-market values.
